YES !! This car is the real thing .This car has 8400 actual miles !! Documentation starts in 1979 with purchase then linear dates to 1981.Car was put in storage until April 2026..EVERYTHING On this car and in this car reflect the well preserved low mileage example .Every light lense, switch, dash instrumentation ,door cards ,seats ,carpets ,rubber sills ,center console, soft top ,finish of wheels and lug nuts as well as the entire engine compartment show as an 8400 mile car. The car has not been cleaned and detailed ,this is exactly as we received the car.
The true test is in the driving of the vehicle .Not since the 70s when I was selling brand new MG cars off the showroom floor have I driven such a pure, honest ,tight, smooth MGB. The car is a thrill to drive as one realizes they are driving an MGB that performs as they we designed .Engine compression results are as follows; #1-138,#2-140,#3-140,#4-138,engine numbers also reflect the low mileage.
I have sold these for five decades and other than new I have not had the opportunity to have and drive such a pure example.
When reviewing the 98 pictures posted note that this is NOT a restored car and that every sticker ,light lense ,and component you are viewing are of a car built by British Leyland ,not a restoration shop
