‘SMR’ is an abbreviation of ‘Sprite & Midget Restorations’ which was founded in the early 80s and was registered officially in 1984.
The proprietor Barry Pryke is an MG enthusiast having owned his own MG Midget since the 70s.
As is often the case he found his hobby and passion for MG’s develop into a small business.
SMR currently stock a diverse choice of predominantly MG cars ranging from project vehicles to fully restored examples.
With the exception of project vehicles, all of the cars from SMR are fully serviced, have a 25 point PDI check, a new MOT and are also provided with a three-month major mechanical warranty.
After sales servicing and repairs are also available.
